Enroll now!Join our 2026-2027 Faith Formation Programs! We have opportunities for all ages 3 to 17 years old.
Through our faith formation programs we will form the children, youth, and young people of our parish to know Jesus and to grow their personal relationship with Him who is the source of all life. Our goal is to cultivate an environment for children and youth that fosters a relationship with and an identity in Christ.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd | Ages 3-12
Middle School Faith Formation | Grades 7 & 8
High School Faith Formation | Grades 9-12

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd cultivates wonder and a deep desire to know more about God. We use methods similar to those of Maria Montessori where the children are able to get a hands on education that meets the child where they are at. Through the materials, the Bible, and prayer children encounter God and form a lasting relationship with Him.
Parent Formation is an important part of helping to form the child. The more we know and have a relationship with Christ the more we can support our children. Parent formation takes place on the second Friday of each Month from 6-8 pm. We would love to have you join us.Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1
Ages 3-6 (Pre-K - 1st Grade) | Fridays at 10 am - 12 pm or Mondays at 5:30 - 7 pm
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 2
Ages 6-9 (2nd Grade - 3rd Grade) | Fridays at 6 - 8 pm
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 3
Ages 9-12 (4th Grade - 6th Grade) | Fridays at 6 - 8 pmCatechesis of the Good Shepherd classes take place in the atria located in Payne Hall.

First Communion FormationFirst Communion Formation
Ages 6+ | Begins in Level II Atrium with Further Formation in the Spring (register at link above)First Communion and Reconciliation Formation:
First Communion and every Communion is a beautiful experience of being united with Jesus and the whole Church.
First Communion Formation can take place at any age and First Communion can be received at ages 7+. For children 10 years old and under First Communion Formation begins in our Level II atrium for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with 6 additional Formation meetings in the Spring leading up to the First Communion Retreat. If you have a child over 10 years old, they’re not too late! Please contact [email protected].
Level II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd this year will be on Fridays from 6 -8 pm starting Sept. 18th.

About the Program
Our program aspires to form Disciples alive in Christ willing and able to share the Gospel message; to fervently bring other souls into wholeness and newness of life with the Holy Spirit!
We believe in forming the child where they are. In that mindset our catechists strive to make our sessions engaging with activities, opportunities for prayer, time for social sharing and for individual reflections. We recognize that parents are the primary educators of the faith for their child and we support parents in taking on that role.
